Organisers hope Indo-Pak ODI will be held later
Glasgow, July 3 (UNI) Disappointed organisers of the one-off ODI between India and Pakistan, which was called off today due to wet outfield here, said both the boards hoped to reschedule the match.
Officials abandoned hopes of holding the match after an inspection at 1830 hrs IST. The match was originally been due to start at 1515 hrs IST.
''I have spoken to both the boards and they have committed to explore a way this match could take place some time in future,'' Manoj Badale, chairman of the British Asian Trust, told reporters.
''As yet we don't have a date and venue for that but both boards recognise that their fans have waited for a long time for such a match and will find a way of making this game happen again,'' he said.
