No decision to send MHA team to Bangladesh before cricket series

New Delhi, Apr 16 (UNI) The Centre has not yet decided about sending a Home Ministry team to Bangladesh, to assess the security threat perception to the Indian cricket team visiting that country from May 10 to 29.

According to Home Ministry sources, no final decision has been taken about sending a team to Bangladesh.

However, asked about media reports whether a team of Intelligence Bureau is being sent to Bangladesh to assess the threat perception to Indian cricketing team, they said no such information was available to them. Moreover, IB may take a decision indepedently, they added.

Indian cricket team had suffered a humiliating defeat from Bangladesh which shattered its World Cup dream.
