Multi-lingual album on Sachin released
Kozhikode, Mar 16 (UNI) A music director launched a multi-lingual album 'Shan-e- Hindustani' here today in praise of Sachin Tendulkar in praise of Sachin Tendulkar on the eve of Team India's World Cup opening match in the Caribbean.
The video recording of the musical venture beginning: 'Feeling that's India, it's always my feeling India, this is India, Sachin Tendulkar,' would be telecast by Malayalam satellite channels from tomorrow, director C V Ranjith told reporters.
The audio cassettes of the album, available in Hindi, English, Urdu, Arabic, Telugu, Kannada, Sanskrit, Bengali, Gujarati, Assomese, Oriya, Konkani, Marathi, Punjabi, Bihari, Kashmiri, Tulu and Bhojpuri, would be released on national channels in the second week of April, he said.
Initially written in Malayalam by Prof Sabari K Ayyappan, the song was later translated into other languages by eminent personalities, including Balamuralikrishna (Tamil), Prof Jose Joseph (English) and Preeja (Bengali) among others.
Ranjit, who produced and acted too in the album, said he was confident of getting an entry into the Guinness Book of World Records for the multi-lingual work.
The album, produced with world standard picturisation and sound recordings, also targets the global market during the ongoing World Cup, he added.
