Mohammad Azharuddin to launch new mobile game in his name

Bengaluru, August 9: For those who saw, it will be tough to forget the visual of Mohammad Azharuddin batting. Flicks executed standing tall, drives that saw his wrists uncoiling like a spring, it was a sight for Gods.

The former Indian captain will now have a touch with the new generation of cricket players through a mobile game - Azhar The Captain.

Azharuddin in his twitter handle rated it a next generation game aimed at gaining traction with the readers.

The Hyderabad player had played 99 Tests for India scoring 6216 runs at a shade over 45 with 22 hundreds and 21 fifties.

A pioneer of the modern one-day game, Azhar played 334 ODIs making 9378 runs with seven hundreds and 58 fifties.
