Laxmi to lead Bengal in One-dayers as stand-in skipper

Kolkata, Feb 9 (UNI) Laxmi Ratan Shukla will lead Bengal in the first two one-dayers of Inter State All India Limited Overs Tournament as the stand-in skipper after Deep Dasgupta was banned for two ODIs as a penalty for slow over rate in Ranji Trophy final.

Deep Dasgupta, however, features in the 15 member squad. While Amitava Chakraborty, Arindam Das, Sourav Ganguly and Ashok Dinda are missing from the squad, Safi Ahmed, Priyankur Mukherjee, S S Paul and Rddhiman Saha makes it to the squad.

Bengal leave for Cuttak on February 10 and play their first match against Tripura on February 13, Jharkhand on February 15, Asom on February 17 and Orissa on February 19.
