Laxman, Kaif for 20-Twenty cricket tournament

Mumbai, Feb 20 (UNI) Current and former cricketers, including V V S Laxman, Mohammad Kaif, Gautam Gambhir, Rohan Gavaskar, Wasim Jaffer and Ramesh Powar, besides leading first class cricketers from all over the country, will be seen in action in the third edition of the 20-Twenty overs All-India Invitational Cricket Tournament from February 26 to March 5.

Twelve top teams from around the country are from the World Cricket Academy and include the likes of Tatas, Air India, BPCL, ONGC, Indian Airlines, Indian Oil, BPCL, SBT, Western Railway, Central Railways and MCA, a release issued here today stated.

The tournament offering prize money of Rs 4 lakh, will be played at the Dr D Y Patil University campus and Dr D Y Patil International Stadium.

A host of other former India players like Reetinder Singh Sodhi and Ajay Ratra will also be vying for the winner's purse of Rs 2 lakh.
