Lara one of the most attractive batsmen: Dravid

Mumbai, Apr 20 (UNI) Indian captain Rahul Dravid today paid glowing tributes to retiring West Indian captain Brian Lara calling him as one of the most attractive players to have played the game.

Lara yesterday announced his retirement from all forms of the game after a 17-year long career in which he rewrote batting records by the dozen.

''He has been a treat to the game. One of the joys of my cricket career has been watching Lara bat. He is one of the most attractive players to watch, and a truly fantastic player,'' Dravid said here today.

''Lara has provided joy to so many people around the world. The retirement of players of Lara's class and ability will affect any team in the world,'' he added.
