Kumble down with fever, India declare at 387/8
Chittagong, May 21 (UNI) India's cup of woes continued to overflow, as veteran leggie Anil Kumble lying low with high fever, could not come out to bat on the fourth day of the first test against hosts Bangladesh today.
The proceedings began at 9.30 am local time today and Zaheer Kahn came out to bat with M S Dhoni. Later Indian team's administartive manager Surendra Bhave, said, ''Anil kumble had very high fever. He is under medication and his improvement is being monitored.'' However, there was no confirmation on when and if he would come out to bowl.
Meanwhile, India declared their innings eleven minutes into the day losing two wickets for three runs with MS Dhoni falling last without adding to his overnight score of 36.
India declared the innings at 387 for eight wickets.
