Kumble appointed India Test captain, 15-member ODI squad retained

Mohali, Nov 8 (UNI) Anil Kumble was today named Indian cricket team's captain for the three-match Test series against Pakistan starting later this month.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Joint Secretary M.P. Pandove announced Kumble's appointment here.

The national selectors also retained the same 15-member Indian ODI squad which played here today for the next two matches against Pakistan at Kanpur (November 11) and Gwalior (November 15).

The ODI squad: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Yuvraj Singh, Virender Sehwag, Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Robin Uthappa, Rohit Sharma, Harbhajan Singh, Murali Kartik, Zaheer Khan, RP Singh, Irfan Pathan, S Sreesanth and Praveen Kumar UNI
