KP will face IPL standoff with ECB on return from injury

London, Aug.18 (ANI): Batsman Kevin Pietersen could come into instant conflict with his England bosses when he returns from injury because of his commitments to the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Though KP will be out for another two months after being omitted from England's one-day squads to face Australia as well as the Champions Trophy in South Africa, he may be fit to play for Bangalore in the Twenty20 Champions League in India in October.

England's priority is KP is fit for the winter tour to South Africa. (ANI)
