Kerala, TN on strong wicket at BSNL Tourney

Kochi, Nov 4 (UNI) Kerala and Tamil Nadu had a good outing today as they prevailed over Andhra Pradesh (103-32) and Punjab (76-41) respectively on the second day of the VIII All India BSNL Basketball Tournament at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium here today.

Karnataka overcame stiff challenge from Chhattishgarh to record a win with a scoreline of 67-66.

Karnataka's Yaseen Peeran Peerzade top scored with 33 points in the match.

In the other matches, Orissa beat UP East (60-38), UP East beat J&K (54-15), Chattissgarh beat MTNL Delhi (70-12) and Maharashtra defeated Gujarat (45-21).
