Kerala announces Rs 5 lakh to Sreesanth, Rs 3 lakh to Uthappa
Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 26 (UNI) The Kerala Cabinet today decided to present Rs five lakh to pace bowler S Sreesanth, who belongs to Kerala, and Rs three lakh to Karnataka batsman Robin Uthappa in recognition of their performance in the Twenty20 Cricket World Cup.
This was announced by Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan after a Cabinet meeting.
He Chief Minister also congratulated Sreesanth over telephone yesterday.
