Karun Nair to lead Karnataka in the Deodhar Trophy

Bengaluru, February 28: With R Vinay Kumar still recuperating from the elbow injury, Karun Nair will lead Karnataka in the upcoming Deodhar Trophy to be held in Dharamshala from March 4 to 9.

Vinay suffered the niggle during the just concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy. Under his absence, Karun led Karnataka to Hazare title, defeating Saurashtra by 41 runs in the final on Tuesday.

Only absentee from the Hazare winning squad is pacer S Arvind, who announced his retirement on Tuesday.
