John Buchanan, Ricky Ponting greet Sachin on his 35th birthday

Kolkata, Apr 24 (UNI) Former Australian coach John Buchanan and Aussie skipper Ricky Ponting today greeted Sachin Tendulkar on his 35th birthday and wished the master blaster a long career in cricket.

Buchanan and Ricky Ponting are here in the city playing Indian Premier League Twenty20 for Kolkata Knight Riders captained by Sourav Ganguly.

After the practice session at Eden Gardens, the Australians praised Sachin Tendulkar saying the batsman was an icon.

Both wished Sachin a long life.
