Irfan, Sreesanth 'sweating it out' at MRF Pace Foundation
Chennai, Jun 2 (UNI) Hoping to make a comeback into Team India, left arm paceman Irfan Pathan is going back to the basics to home his shills at the MRF Pace Foundation.
Giving him good company is his' new ball partner' S Sreesanth who is getting back into shape after recovering from a calf muscle injury during the recent Bangladesh tour. They are being guided by the Chief Coach at the Foundation , former India paceman and national selector T A Sekhar.
However, both are making sure that they don't talk too much to mediapersons and are generally reticent.
Irfan when approached by a few waiting reporters evaded them after wishing them ''hi'' and walked off to train at the nets.
Irfan was ommitted from the team after being sent back during the series in West Indies early this year, a few months before the World Cup.
Sreesanth, on the other hand, has been training to tone himself up in the gym after having recovered from the calf muscle injury, and ironing out flaws in his bowling.
''Pinne samsarikkam''(We will meet later), he said avoiding any further questions from a newsagency reporter, who accosted him in Malayalam.
However, he said '' I am fully fit and recovered from the injury.'' Both Irfan and Sreesanth had 'graduated' to Team India, having been among the trainees at the MRF Pace Foundation,it may be recalled.
