Sunil Narine was dropped by Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad as the CSK captain failed to grab a simple chance in the CSK vs KKR match on Tuesday (April 14).

Anshul Kamboj's low full toss was not met properly, and Narine's shot went straight to Ruturaj Gaikwad at mid-off.

Just as the CSK fans started roaring anticipating a certain wicket, the ball popped out of Gaikwad's palm and went out. The bowler was left in agony while the commentators couldn't believe the drop.

"Just had too much time to catch," said Ravi Shastri on air while commentating. Another commentator rather described 'too much thoughts' in the CSK captain's mind, who hasn't been in the best of form with the bat.

The fans were not kind to the CSK captain as he dropped an easy chance.

But the drop didn't prove too costly, as Sunil Narine departed soon. This time Khaleel Ahmed got his man as the West Indies star departed after scoring 24 runs off 17 deliveries.
