The earlier chubby-cheeked Virat Kohli has transformed himself into a chiselled, fit person and it often requires a lot of dedication. Kohli, being a Punjabi boy from Delhi, had to fight with his tastebuds and sacrificed a lot on his culinary wishlist to reach where he is now.

"You can go to the gym and work hard... But with food, it is very different. You have taste buds, and it's linked to your own mind wanting something and not wanting something. I can eat the same thing for the next six months, three times a day. I have no issues," Kohli said while speaking to Star Sports.
From Delhi's Cheeku to Fitness Freak: Virat Kohli's Dietary Transformation
Virat Kohli used to be a foodie. The Delhi boy loved to dip himself in Butter Chicken and Naan, Chole Bhature, Sweets and other Indian food delicacies. He was fond of non-vegetarian foods and other fast foods.
But the change in his diet came with a realization, which fuelled Kohli to take a healthy path. The RCB star switched from those oily foods to a healthy way. About six years ago, Kohli used to take Grilled Chicken, Red Meat and Grilled Seafood, but the Indian player has turned vegetarian for some time now.
Kohli, while speaking in the Breakfast With Champions Podcast, also revealed how he requires only one cheat meal and then he can automatically turn back to the default food regime.
"After one cheat meal, my desire (to eat cheat meals) subsides. I go back to default and I think it has become a nature. I have become very possessive of how I eat and train," Kohli said in that podcast.

Lunch: Vegetable Soups and Broths, Beetroot and Spinach and Grilled Vegetables
Afternoon: Fruits and Coffee without Sugar
