IPL 2016 Players Auction: Pawan Negi to M Ashwin, here's how Twitterati react to 'surprise pickings'
New Delhi, Feb 6: Veteran Australian all-rounder Shane Watson commanded the highest bid of Rs.9 crore from Royal Challengers Bengaluru while star batsman Yuvraj Singh was snapped up by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs.7 crore in the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction here on Saturday.
This is first time that Watson has featured in the IPL auction since the inaugural edition in 2008.

Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, who attracted a record price of Rs 16 crore at last year's Indian Premier League (IPL) Players Auction, this time went for Rs 7 crore to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
Surprise in today's auction was the bidding of former CSK spinner Pawan Negi, who was bought by Delhi Daredevils for staggering 8.5 crores.
Like every year, this year's IPL auction too came up with a few big surprises, shocked and astonished the cricket fans.
