Indian cricket team to depart for Ireland on June 20

Mumbai, June 18 (UNI) The Indian cricket team, which will leave from here in the early hours of June 20 for the Summer series of four one-day internationals to be played in Ireland and Scotland, will assemble in the metropolis tomorrow.

The 15-member squard, led by Rahul Dravid, will leave by an early morning flight on June 20 and will play their first match against Ireland on June 23, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said in a release here today.

India would be playing three ODIs against South Africa in Belfast for the Future Cup and then an ODI against Pakistan at Glasgow in Scotland for the Future Friendship Cup.

Captain Rahul Dravid and manager Chandu Borde would also address the media at the news conference in the evening at 1900 hrs, while the group photo session would be held at 1800 hrs, the release added.

The itinerary for the ODIs is as follows: June 23: India v Ireland at Belfast June 26: India v South Africa; 1st ODI Future Cup at Belfast June 29: India v South Africa; 2nd ODI Future Cup at Belfast July 1: India v South Africa; 3rd ODI Future Cup at Belfast July 3: India v Pakistan; Future Friendship Cup at Glasgow.
