'Apna Bana Le Piya': Jemimah Rodrigues floors Fans singing Arijit Singh Songs - Watch

India women's cricket team star Jemimah Rodrigues has shown her other talent in a recent social media post.

Jemimah, the star batter of the Indian women's team, is known for her social media activities and other music and video collaboration posts with her Indian teammates. She also plays the guitar and sings pretty decently.

And Jemimah uploaded a video of her singing on her Instagram page. The 22-year-old posted a video of her playing the guitar as she sang two Arijit Singh songs. She started with the popular number 'Kesariya', and then mashed up with the song 'Apna Bana le Piya', another popular track - both sung by Bollywood sensation Arijit Singh.

"I woke up, picked up the guitar and ended up singing two of my current favourite songs. Thought I'll share it with all of you all," Jemimah's music video caption wrote.

"Hope you'll had an amazing week and hoping the next week will be even more amazing! Blessings," she further said.

The fans were in awe of her beautiful singing. The ever-smiling player of the Indian women's team has a massive affinity towards music and the comments section was poured with love and respect for the Indian player.

"Wahhhh di... aap ki voice acchi hai" (Wow Madam, you voice is so beautiful), one fan wrote. There were also fans from Pakistan who showed "love and respect" across the border for Jemimah.

Jemimah's teammate Harleen Deol also commented and jokingly asked for the Disco Light effect.

"Where is the other one the disco light effect?," Harleen commented. And Jemimah says she decided to go without a filter as Instagram was 'messing around' with her.

Jemimah Rodrigues has been a fantastic performer for India in recent times. She has played 21 ODIs and 80 T20Is for the Indian team, with 394 and 1704 runs in those formats respectively.

The Mumbai-born player represented Delhi Capitals Women's team in the recently concluded inaugural Women's Premier League (WPL) season. She was bought by the DC franchise for INR 2.2 crore.

She scored 126 runs in nine matches for DC as the Capitals finished as runners-up in the tournament.
