India vs Sri Lanka: KL Rahul joins Rahul Dravid, GR Viswanath in 50s Club

KL Rahul

Bengaluru, India opener KL Rahul joined Rahul Dravid and Gundappa Viswanath as Indian batsmen who made six successive half centuries in Tests.

Rahul made 57 in the second Test against Sri Lanka in Colombo before getting run out after a mix up his partner Cheteswar Pujara.

The Karnataka batsman thus went ahead of some big names like Sunil Gavaskar, Dilip Vengsarkar, Sanjay Manjrekar and Navjot Singh Sidhu, who all made five consecutive centuries each in Tests.

Rahul had missed the first Test at Galle due to viral fever and Abhinav Mukund played in place of him.
