India T20I Squad vs South Africa Announced: Shubman Gill Returns, Jasprit Bumrah included, No Rinku Singh
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Indian team for the upcoming T20I series against South Africa.
Suryakumar Yadav is set to lead the Indian side against the Proteas in a five-match T20I series, starting from December 9 in Cuttack.

Barabati Stadium in Cuttack kicks off the series, known for its lively crowds and spin-friendly pitches. The finale at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, a massive venue, often sees high-scoring thrillers under lights. Shubman Gill returns to the side to deputize Surya for the T20I series, successfully recovering from the recent neck injury he suffered during the Test series.
Hardik Pandya has returned to the side, while Sanju Samson is back in the shortest format as well. In terms of the team, it remains almost unchanged from the Australia series, which they recently won down under. The only change has been the exclusion of Rinku Singh, who has been left out of the squad.
Abhishek Sharma, who has been a revelation for India in recent times, is also included. Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav are the frontline spinners while Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh will be the partners of Bumrah.
