Dharamsala, March 28: India defeated Australia by eight wickets in the fourth and final cricket Test to claim the four-match series 2-1 at the HPCA stadium, here on Tuesday (March 28).
Chasing a small total of 106, India finished at 107 for two, losing the wickets of Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara.

Opener KL Rahul (52 not out) and stand-in skipper Ajinkya Rahane (38 not out) remained unbeaten to take India home.
Trailing 1-0 in the four match series, Team India bounced back strongly to defeat Australia 2-1 and reclaim the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
India have finished the home season by finishing the 13-Test long home season with 10 wins, just one loss and two draws.
