From Sehwag to Tendulkar: Indian cricketers relish memories of 2011 World Cup triumph
New Delhi, April 2: Indian cricketing fraternity got nostalgic on Sunday (April 2) as India are celebrating the six years of winning the ICC World Cup 2011.
The big tournament culminated in the best possible way for the home side as they turned World Champions.

India defeated Sri Lanka by 6 wickets with 10 balls remaining to complete a truly historic victory in front of hysteric crowd at Wankhede Stadium.
Chasing a target of 274 in the stipulated 50 overs, skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni struck a brilliant 91 to immortalise April 2 as a historic day in the history of Indian cricket.
India's charismatic captain MS Dhoni led from the front as they lifted the prestigious trophy to end a drought of 28 years. Kapil Dev-led India team last won the World Cup for India in England in 1983.
The hosts were in a spot of bother after they lost three quick wickets in Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli cheaply.
But, skipper Dhoni, Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh rose to the occasion to steer India to a terrific win. Dhoni was adjudged the man of the match for his captaincy knock.
