IND vs ENG 4th T20I: Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium T20 Stats & Records, IPL Numbers in Pune
Team India will look to bounce back and seal the series when they host England the third T20I at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium in Pune on Friday (January 31).
Suryakumar Yadav-led Men in Blue had claimed a 2-0 lead in the five-match series, having won the first two T20Is in Kolkata and Chennai, but Jos Buttler's England reduced the deficit with a victory in the third T20I in Rajkot.

After producing a poor display with bat and ball in the series opener at the Eden Gardens and Chepauk, England finally stepped up to their hype and put on an all-round show at the Niranjan Shah Stadium on Tuesday (January 28).
Put into bat, England rode on Ben Duckett’s 28-ball 51 and Liam Livingstone’s 24-ball 43 to post 171 despite Varun Chakravarthy’s fifer. In form skipper Buttler also contributed 24 off 22 balls for the visitors.
Chasing 172 on a slow surface, the Indian batters faltered as Adil Rashid, Jamie Overton and Brydon Carse put in the squeeze in the middle overs to seal a 26-run win for England.
After the first three matches on slow surfaces, the action will now shift to MCA Stadium, where wickets have often favoured the batters, but also assist the bowlers, especially the quicks.
The Pune venue last hosted a T20 international in 2023, when India fell short of a run chase of 207 against Sri Lanka. Axar Patel and Suryakumar Yadav scored quickfire fifties on that ocassion in a losing cause.
India also have a mixed record in T20Is at the venue, but have beaten England in the earlier meeting in Pune. The Men in Blue have won two and lost two matches in the shortest format at the venue.
