I am getting better, hope to play: Lara

Chennai, Jan 25 (UNI) West Indies cricket captain Brian Lara, who arrived here today with his team for the third one-dayer at the M A Chidambaram stadium on January 27 said his knee injury was getting better.

Participating in a interactive session ''Rendezvous with Lara'', got up by ING Vysya Bank, he said the injured left me still had a little bit of soreness.

Lara said, he was, however, hoping to be fit and ready for the key-contest on Saturday. I have another 24-hours left to recover, he observed.

The southpaw said his team is in a must win situation before the next match to stay in the series.

It may be recalled that Lara sat out for the second one-dayer to prevent any aggravation of his knee injury in view of the World Cup back home in March-April.
