Himachal defeat J&K by 6 wickets in U/19 Venu Mankad trophy

Srinagar, Sep 24 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh today defeated Jammu and Kashmir by six wickets in the under-19 Venu Mankad cricket trophy league match played at Sher-e-Kashmir cricket stadium here.

Himachal Pradesh won the toss and decided to field first.

Jammu and Kashmir scored 126 runs for all out in 35 overs.

Captain Ram Diyal scored 31 runs while Mudasir scored 12 runs for Jammu and Kashmir.

Himachal Pradesh reach the target in 38 overs when they scored 130 runs by loosing four wickets. Abimanyu Rana and Jai Malhotra scored 36 runs each while Sumit Varma scored 30 runs.
