GCA to felicitate Dhoni & boys, special prize for Irfan: Amin

Ahmedabad, Sep 25 (UNI) The Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) today announced that it will felicitate the victorious Indian team for winning the inaugural Twenty20 cricket World Cup at Johannesburg late last night.

GCA President Narhari Amin, in a statement here, congratulated the Indian team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his boys for their victory in the final of Twenty20 World Cup played at Johannesburg in South Africa yesterday.

Mr Amin said the victorious Indian side would be felicitated at the prize distribution function of N P K Salve Challenger Trophy, which is to be played between October 25-28 here.

Besides this, local lad Irfan Khan Pathan, who took three wickets for 16 runs and adjudged Man of the Match in the final, would be given a special cash prize and memento by the GCA, he added.
