Flintoff ruled out of one-day series in Sri Lanka

JOHANNESBURG, Sep 20 (Reuters) England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff was ruled out today of their forthcoming one-day series in Sri Lanka with a left ankle injury.

His place in the England squad, which were eliminated from the Twenty20 World Cup yesterday, will be taken by fast bowler Chris Tremlett, an England Cricket Board statement said.
