Five arrested for betting on India-WI ODI

Nagpur, Jan 21 (UNI) The police today arrested five persons from two different places in the city while accepting bets on the first One-Day International (ODI) between India and the West Indies here.

One person was arrested from an apartment in Rani Durgavati Nagar under Pachpaoli police station area, while another fled from the spot when a special squad carried out a raid, police said.

Four persons were arrested during a raid carried out under Gittikhadan police station area, police added.
