Exclusive: Mayank Yadav starts bowling again, should be fit from mid-April for LSG
A day after MyKhel reported that Lucknow Super Giants weren't too keen to include fast bowler Mayank Yadav because of his frequent injuries and had even gone to an extent of declaring him unfit to sign in a fitter bowler, it has now come to light that Mayank has started to bowl again and his toe injury is almost healed.
He should be ready to fire on all cylinders from the middle of April itself, sources said. It means the player will be available for LSG within the first three weeks of the IPL 2025 season.

Sources also said that LSG wanted Mayank to undergo rehab under their watchful eyes to which NCA objected because he is a BCCI contracted cricketer first.
"Mayank has already started to bowl and looking good to play in the IPL in a few weeks time," a source close to the cricketer said.
Mayank is one of the rare finds of Indian cricket sheerly because of the impact he create with the ball. He is one of the fastest in the world and has already made his T20 debut and with a couple of match-winning spells. He hasn't been playing domestic cricket regularly and should be fit for the later half of the IPL season. The problem with such fast bowlers is that they can get unfit anytime, especially, with the kind of pace they produce.
