England win toss, to bat first against Ireland

Georgetown, Guyana, Mar 30 (UNI) England captain Michael Vaughan won the toss and elected to bat first against Ireland in their World Cup Super Eight match at Providence Stadium here today.

England named a unchanged team from their last group win over Kenya while Irish captain Trent Johnston returned from a shoulder problem in place of John Mooney.
