England win toss and bat, Flintoff ruled out
LONDON, Sep 5 (Reuters) England all rounders Andrew Flintoff and Ravi Bopara have both been ruled out of the sixth one-day international against India at The Oval today.
Flintoff was not risked because of discomfort in his troublesome left ankle, while Bopara misses out after breaking a thumb in the fifth match which India won to trail 3-2.
Sussex's Luke Wright comes in for his England debut while Dimitri Mascarenhas also plays.
England captain Paul Collingwood won the toss and elected to bat on a hard Oval wicket. Victory will seal a series win for England with just Saturday's Lord's match to come.
India made one change to the side which won at Headingley with opener Dinesh Karthik replaced by Robin Uthappa.
