England series will be tough, admits Yuvraj
London, July 16 (UNI) Team India's mainstay in the middle-order Yuvraj Singh admitted the series against England will be a tough one, especially after playing just two practise games before the first Test.
The 25-year-old dashing left-hander said ''It's tough coming here and just playing two games before the first Test, knowing you have to get in the groove.'' ''England is a top side and we have to give it a bit more and hopefully we'll come good,'' he was quoted as saying by 'Sky Sports'.
Sachin Tendulkar also made a magnificent 171 in the same match but the rest of the Indian middle order collapsed in the face of some aggressive bowling by the England Lions.
However, Yuvraj, a former Yorkshire player, does not want to read too much into the performance, ''You can't make any judgement from the warm-up games,'' he said.
India will play three Test and seven ODI series against England, with the first Test starting on July 19 at Lords.
