Dhoni sporting new hair style arrives in his home state

Ranchi, Oct 24 (UNI) Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni today arrived at his home town here, the first visit after winning Twenty-20 World Cup held in South Africa amid tight security.

Sporting short hair and dressed in black T-shirt and blue jeans, Mahi, as fondly called by people here, landed at Birsa Munda Airport by an Indian Airlines plane this afternoon where he was received by his brother-in-law Gautam Gupta and select few of his friends.

From the state government an officer was present at the airport to welcome the local lad.

Though the administration had beefed up security at the airport, the fans did not gather there.

Dhoni immediately got into his private car and was whisked away to his residence at Mecon colony.

He would be felicitated by Chief Minister Madhu Koda tomorrow.

The team Indian captain is scheduled to leave day after for the conditioning camp.
