Delhi, Punjab, MP, Kerala and J&K in u/19 quarterfinals

Srinagar, Sep 7 (UNI) Delhi entered quarterfinals of the 53rd national school games football (U-19) championship defeating Pudducherry 3-0 in a league match here today.

Punjab, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh and hosts Jammu and Kashmir have already made it to the quarterfinals.

For Delhi, Deepak scored two goals in the -- 8th and 11th minute -- of the game while Rohit netted the third goal in 53rd minute.

Deepak had scored five of the 11 goals in a one-sided match against Vishwa Bharati School yesterday.

In the second match, Tamil Nadu defeated Gujarat by a solitary goal while Bihar beat Chhattisgarh 2-1.

Goa trounced Jharkhand 6-1 in another match of the day at the Bakshi Stadium here.
