Dedication, determination essential for achievement: Kumble

Mysore, Nov 29 (UNI) Former Indian Test cricket captain Anil Kumble today said dedication, devotion and determination were essential to achieve greater heights in sports.

Talking to newspersons after inaugurating athletics meet at Ramakrishna Vidhyashala here, he said sports acts as a tonic for refreshment in one's life and it was essential for every one to engage in sports activities.

Students had greater opportunity to excel in sports and it was right time for it in their life time, he added.

Kumble further said he would play IPL but was undecided about his future plans.
