David Warner set to miss the rest of India series, may return to Australia

Australia opener David Warner may miss the remainder of the Border Gavaskar Trophy, according to reports.
David Warner, who was hit on the head by Mohammed Siraj during the 2nd Test, was left out of the remainder of the Test match and was concussion subbed by Matt Renshaw. Australia capitulated in a disastrous manner in the second innings and slipped to another defeat in Delhi, thus trailing the Test series 2-0 after the first two Tests.
Australia captain Pat Cummins has gone back to Australia for personal reasons, and it is reported that David Warner may follow soon with a flight back home.
Cummins has returned to Australia due to a 'serious family illness', but is expected to rejoin the squad before the start of the 3rd Test. There is an extended gap before the 3rd Test as the match is set to commence from March 1 in Indore. As the Delhi Test was wrapped within three days, players of both teams got two extra days off.

But contrary to the reports, Warner had a day out with his family in Delhi on Monday. The Aussie opener went sightseeing in the capital and posted a picture on his social media account.
Although the severity of his head injury is unknown, it is believed the veteran batter won't play any part in the upcoming two matches. Australia may welcome back Cameron Green in the third Test, who missed the first two games due to a finger injury.
David Warner Stats in BGT 2023:
David Warner has endured a torrid period in the first two Tests against India. He has only managed 26 runs off his bat in the first 3 innings, with a paltry highest score of 15 runs. It is quite evident that the 36-year-old is out of form, and even if the passes the physical test, the player is set to be benched for the final two matches.
Josh Hazlewood Ruled Out:
Problems have compounded though for the Aussies yet again as star bowler Josh Hazlewood was ruled out of the series due to his Achilles injury. The bowler is also set to return to Australia and undergo rehabilitation in Sydney.
