Dav Whatmore out of race to coach Team India

Bangalore, June 4 (UNI) The BCCI today kept out fancied Dav Whatmore out of the probables list for selection of the next Indian Cricket Coach and instead zeroed in on former South African Coach Graham Ford and another unnamed foreigner for the post.

Making the disclosure after the Coach Selection Committee meeting here tonight, BCCI Treasurer N Sreenivasan said the Committee had decided to invite South African Graham Ford and another person, a foreign national, whose ''name we cannot disclose as we are yet to contact him and ascertain his availability. Once we make sure he is ready for the job, we will announce his name.'' MORE UNI
