Cricket teams arrive for third ODI
Chennai, Jan 25 (UNI) The Indian and West Indies cricket teams arrived here this evening from Bhubaneswar for the third ODI match on January 27.
Elaborate security arrangements had been made in the airport in view of the alleged attack on Indian coach Greg Chappell, at Bhubaneswar airport a couple of days ago.
The teams were accorded a warm reception by the officials of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association. A large number of cricket enthusiasts had also assembled at the airport to have a glimpse of their favourite cricket stars.
India leads the four match series 2-0.
Earlier, leg spinner Anil Kumble who was included in the team for the last two ODIs, arrived from Bangalore and he later had a session at the nets at the Chepauk stadium here.
However, when a few newspersons there sought a chat with him, Kumble said ''no, the board has instructed us from interacting without getting clearance from team management''.
Left hander Yuvraj singh, who had recovered from injury and was included in the team, was expected to join the team late today evening.
