Conditioning camp for Indian cricket team begins tomorrow
Kolkata, May 1 (UNI) India's cricket team today announced its practice schedules for the five-day conditioning camp beginning tomorrow at Eden Gardens here.
Indian team administrative manager S Bhave told a news conference that the five days' camp will be held in two sessions every day with fielding practice, fitness and gyms in the morning session and nets in the evenings.
Earlier Indian cricket manager Ravi Shastri and Bhave insepcted all the facilites here and expressed their happiness with the arrangements.
Bhave said the team could use the main pitch of the park for net session also.
Earlier last night the Indian team's think-tank sat for a two hour-meeting to draw the stgtegy of the camp for Bangladesh tour.
Indian team is heading for Bangladesh after the disaster World Cup in the Carribean where the side failed to progress into the super eights after it was defeated by neighbour Bangladesh.
The Indian team heads for Bangladeh on May 7 to avenge their defeat in the world cup.
Indian thinktank met here for a brainstorming session last night to chalk out a strategy for the coming Test and One Day tour to Bangladesh.
The newly appointed cricket manager Ravi Shastri asked the players to enjoy the game without taking any pressure and keep a positive attitude.
The same opinion was echoed by fielding coach Robin Singh, while bowling coach Venkatesh Prasad said he would pay individually attention to every bowler.
