Cheerleaders dress code changed in in Hyd
Hyderabad, May 11: Bowing to the pressure by the BJP on the 'indecent' dance by cheerleaders at Uppal cricket stadium during the DLF IPL cricket matches, the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) today decided to change their dress code.
Speaking to newspersons here, BJP Andhra Pradesh Secretary Prabhakar said the HCA had agreed to change the dress code after talks held between HCA Secretary Shivalal Yadav, BJP state President B Dattatraya and police officials. As the HCA authorities gave a written assurance to the BJP that the new dress code would be implemented from today, the party called off its proposed stir in front of the Uppal cricket stadium during the cricket match between Deccan Chargers and Kolkata Knight Riders to be held this evening.
