Chandigarh beat Mohali on first innings lead
Chandigarh, June 5 (UNI) Defiant knocks of 111 by Navneet Singh and Yuvraj Singh's 60 went in vain as Chandigarh beat Mohali by virtue of their first-innings lead of 95 runs in the semi-final match of the Punjab Inter-District Cricket Tournament for Dhruv Pandove Trophy here today.
In reply to Chandigarh's first innings total of 332 for 8 in 40 overs, Mohali were dismissed for 237 all out in 81.5 overs.
Sumit Dhiman did the maximum damage, claiming six wickets for 52 runs to spoil Mohali's chances of progressing into the finals.
