Century in sight for Sachin, Sourav in 23 overs play today
Chittagong, May 19 (UNI) The second day's play at last got underway a 1630 hours with a maximum of 23 overs to be bowled today provided the conditions remained unchanged.
After three inspections, the last of which took place at 1555 hours Bangladesh time, play began at 1630 hours.
India were at 295 for three at the close of play, with Sourav Ganguly batting on 82 and Sachin Tendulkar on 80. Both the 'rested' stars will have ample number of overs to score a ton, provided the weather holds up.
Earlier, overnight rain forced a delay in the commencing of play on the second day of the first test between India and Bangladesh at the Chittagong Divisional Stadium here.
