Bengal Pro T20 League 2025: Howrah Warriors beat Murshidabad Kings to Win Title - Award Winners, Prize Money

In a pulsating summit clash at the historic Eden Gardens, the Adamas Howrah Warriors etched their name in history as they clinched the men's Bengal Pro T20 League 2025 title with a spirited 9-run victory over the Murshidabad Kings.

Choosing to bat first in the final, Howrah posted a competitive 150/9 in their 20 overs. Their innings was anchored by key contributions from Shakir Habib Gandhi (31), Aditya Purohit (30), and Arindam Ghosh (26). Despite regular breakthroughs by the Murshidabad attack, the Warriors' batting unit ensured a total that gave their bowlers something to work with.

Murshidabad's chase was fueled by a fiery knock from Tanmoy Pramanick, whose 33-ball 48 gave the Kings early momentum. However, disciplined bowling and sharp fielding from Howrah turned the tide. Kanisk Seth emerged as the standout with 3/39, while Saksham Sharma (2/36), Shreyan Chakraborty (1/25), and Rohit (1/12) chipped in with vital strikes to stem the flow of runs at crucial junctures.

Earlier, Rishabh Chaudhary led Murshidabad's bowling effort with an economical 2/19, aided by Saksham Chaudhary, Toufik Uddin Mondal, Vikas Singh, and Aniket Singh, each bagging a wicket.

The final served as a fitting climax to a tournament that featured eight elite state-representative franchises, launched on June 11 and run in a round-robin format followed by knockouts. The Warriors had already stunned the highly-fancied Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers in the semifinal, pulling off a gutsy 11-run win at the same venue.
