BCCI will clear all the dues of players joining the 'rebel' league
New Delhi, Aug 23 (UNI) The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has assured the clearance of all dues of the players till the season 2006-2007 quashing media reports claiming that the dues of those who have joined the 'rebel' Indian Cricket league (ICL) will not be cleared by the Board.
In a media release, BCCI's Honorary Secretary Niranjan Shah has clarified, ''The board will clear all the dues of the players till 2006-2007 season.'' The Indian Cricket League has roped in 44 Indian players. The BCCI has banned all these players and has stated that they will not recieve any financial or other benefits from the board in future.
