BCCI not to implement Players contract till World Cup is over
New Delhi, Feb 20 (UNI) Indian Captain Rahul Dravid met BCCI officials this morning, where it was decided that Players Contract would not be implemented till the Indian team complete their World Cup matches in the West Indies.
Board of Control for Cricket in India Secretary Niranjan Shah informed that the Players Contract would be implemented only after the team returns from the Caribbean.
At the meeting today, the draft agreement was discussed in detail and the views of the Board and players were exchanged.
Many had called for stricter measures like performance-linked fees to the players when the team was having a bad run of form.
