Bangladesh wins toss, elects to bat
Dhaka, May 10 (UNI) Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat in the first of the three match ODI series against India that saw a delayed start with threats of a downpour looming large.
A 30-minute delayed start following a light drizzle meant the match was reduced to 49 overs-a-side.
India left out Piyush Chawla and R P Singh, with Manoj Tewari already out of the equation with a shoulder injury. Robin Uthappa is the 12th man today.
Bangladesh also left out Mashrafe Mortaza who has a lower back injury and Sayeed Nafees. Farhad Reza is the 12th man.
