Australian cricket officials visit IPCL ground in Vadodara
Vadodara, July 14 (UNI) A four-member team of Australian Cricket Board (ACB) officials today inspected the picturesque IPCL cricket ground ahead of the India-Australia one day international series, beginning from September 29.
It will be the first ever visit of the world champions team Australia to Vadodara, which would host the 5th of the seven ODIs, to be played at the IPCL ground on October 11.
The officials comprising of Aussie team manager Stephen Bernard, cricket manager Geoff Allardice, security manager Reginald Dickason and Australian Cricketers Associations CEO Paul Marsh inspected the stadium, including the practice area, visitor's dressing room and the security arrangement made by Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) for the match.
BCA chief executive officer Makarand Waingankar said the visiting Aussie officials, who were accompanied by BCCI games organisation chief Suru Nayak, had expressed satisfaction at the presentation made by the association with regard to security arrangement.
