Australia brings in Katich for Hughes for Hobart Test

Melbourne, Jan 13 (ANI): Australia has named a predictable 11 for the third Test against Pakistan starting in Hobart on Thursday.

Captain Ricky Ponting said Victorian paceman Clint Mackay will drop out of the 12-man squad to enable him to play for the Bushrangers during the Test.

Australia have made just one change from the team that scored a 36-run comeback win at the SCG with opener Simon Katich taking the place of Phillip Hughes.

Out of form batsman Marcus North has also been retained despite a disappointing series to date.

Australia: Simon Katich, Shane Watson, Ricky Ponting (captain), Michael Hussey, Michael Clarke, Marcus North, Brad Haddin, Mitchell Johnson, Nathan Hauritz, Peter Siddle, Doug Bollinger, Clint Mackay (12th man). (ANI)
